Film: Karnataka Police (Kannada)
Director: J G Krishna
Cast: Devaraj, Bhanuchander, Avinash, Bank Janardhan, Bhavyasri Rai, Yamini
WITH a name like this, one would assume that the director would have some basic knowledge about the Karnataka police, which has sacrificed a number of daredevil cops in combing operations. He does not.
Captain (Avinash). a terrorist, stationed in Sri Lanka, wants to wipe out corrupt politicians and rule the country. He plans to eliminate a corrupt minister. But the intelligent department alerts the Bangalore City Police Commissioner. He assigns Hemanth (Devaraj) and Prashanth (Bhanuchander) to safeguard the Minister and arrest the terrorists. Meanwhile, Captain comes to India arid lands in a police trap but escapes from police custody, How Hemanth and Prashanth succeed in smashing the Captain’s network forms the crux of the movie, Devaraj miserably fails in all departments like acting, dialogue delivery and stunt scenes. Though Bhanuchander has done the stunts well, he is very poor in dialogue delivery. There is nothing at all one can say about Bhavyasri Rai.
