Ananthamurthy heads film panel
NEW DELHI:
The government has set up two jury panels for the selection of feature films and non-feature films for the Indian panorama section of the International Film Festival of India 2000.
The jury for feature films started viewing films from Wednesday.
The feature film jury headed by U.R. Ananthamurthy has 12 members. They are Shyama Prasad, Ketan Mehta, P. Sambhasiva Rao, Silditya Sen, Bijoy Ketan Mishra, Gautam Kaul, Sudesh Siyal, Khayaam, Malaya Bhattacharjee, Sushma Shiromanee, Ms Jayamala and Ms Archana, a release said.The jury for non-feature films is headed by Siddhartha Kak.
The jury for feature films will recommend 21 films for the Indian Panorama 2000.
