Tribute to Adoor
“The Festival of Three Continents at Nantes in France, which specialises in films from Asia, Africa and Latin America is paying a special tribute to Indian filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan, as it celebrates its 20th anniversary from November 24 to December 1. Mr Gopalakrishnan, who
has been invited to present two films of his choice, including one of his own and the other from amongst the Indian films, at the festival, chose his film Anantharam and Shyam Benegal’s Bhoomika.
