An ICSSR Project on The Experience of Gendered Violence: Developing Psychobiographies
CUSP@CSCS (Culture-Subjectivity-Psyche: Rethinking Mental Health), an applied research programme at CSCS, is looking for a full time/part time RESEARCH ASSOCIATE for its project The Experience of Gendered Violence: Developing Psychobiographies. The applicant should have a Master's Degree with interest in working at the interface of mental health in general, psychoanalysis in particular and gender issues (awareness of qualitative methods and processes of narrative generation in contexts of violence would be welcome). S/he should be under 35 years of age and have good knowledge of computer applications and web technologies. The full time job (40 hours per week) is based in Bangalore but could involve travelling according to the requirements of the Research. The applicant would be responsible for the management of (a) research projects undertaken; (b) field work and (c) courses/talks/workshops organized by the project. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications.
