I am presently working on a doctoral project on Telugu Cinema from the University of Ulster, Ireland as part of the Centre for the Study of Culture and Society (CSCS), Bangalore Comparative Film Studies Programme. Simultaneously I am also working as a Research Associate at CSCS in its Educational Initiatives Programme. As part of which I coordinate the MA (Online) Cultural Studies and other academic and non-academic activities. Was a Sarai-CSDS Independent Fellow during 2005-06. I did my Masters from Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages, (CIEFL) Hyderabad with specialization in Media and Communications and Literary and Cultural Studies. Also worked with AIR as a Casual Compere in English and co-produced a National Award winning Radio feature ‘That’s the Moment’. That’s my academic side. Other wise I am a film buff cum couch potato who doesn’t mind sleeping, dreaming and dancing at any time of the day.
