Visiting Fellows

CSCS provides affiliation to Indian and international researchers for varying periods of time. In addition CSCS also invites academics to interact with faculty and students and to present their work at the Centre.

Fellowships at CSCS

The CSCS Fellowships Programme began in 2002 to make its substantial library and faculty resources available to a range of researchers outside the institution.

• Production of Knowledge in the Natural and Social Sciences

Center for Contemporary Studies in collaboration with the Center for the Study of Culture and Society, Bangalore

• NIAS Graduate Seminar with Dr. Vinay Gidwani

Prof Vinay Gidwani (Dept of Geography, Univ Minnesota, and author of Capital Interrupted) will be visiting NIAS under its Urban Programme from August 8 - 23. During his visit he will offer an intensive seminar course for PhD students.

• Seminar on the Anthropology of Contemporary Capitalism

Instructor: Carol Upadhya. Course offered at National Institute of Advanced Studies
