The CSCS Fellowships Programme began in 2002 to make its substantial library and faculty resources available to a range of researchers outside the institution.
CSCS provides affiliation to Indian and international researchers for varying periods of time. In addition CSCS also invites academics to interact with faculty and students and to present their work at the Centre.

About Promoting Pluralism Knowledge Programme:
The
Promoting Pluralism Knowledge Programme is a multi-country consortia academic-practitioner
collaboration programme with a view to map and generate knowledge that will
enhance the understanding of ‘pluralism’ in all its broadness vis-a-vis
changing notions of identity, social prejudice and intolerance of faiths other
than one's own. The programme works towards developing deeper understanding and
innovative strategies, including strategies for grassroots level social action/intervention,
with a view to increase spaces for cultural pluralism and social diversity in
practice.
The
programme is supported by Hivos, Netherlands and the main academic partners are
the Kosmopolis Institute at the University for Humanistics, the Netherlands,
Centre for the Study of Culture and Society, India, Centre for Religious and
Cross cultural studies at the Gadjamada University, Indonesia, and the Cross
Cultural Foundation, Uganda.
Job Description:
The Programme Administrator will be responsible for the
overall coordination of all the activities of the programme and will be directly
answerable to the Lead Researcher. The nature of tasks includes:
Responsibility for regular commutation with all the actors of the
programme
Coordination of the research and dissemination activities of the India
programme in accordance with Lead Researcher’s guidance
Responsibility for the coordination and management of the India
programme website content
Will be responsible for organising the events, workshops etc, and minuting
of these meetings of the programme
Deal with basic financial
matters such as tabulation of statement etc.
Qualifications:
The person should preferably hold a Post-Graduate degree in
any discipline (preferably in social sciences) with excellent skills in
communication in English and has working knowledge of computers, especially
word processing, spreadsheet and internet skills. Skills of basic accounting
will be an added advantage.
Remuneration
The salary will depend upon the qualifications and
experience and will approximately be between Rs. 25, 000 to 30,000 per month.
