As someone who's not Indian and living in different context, I would to introduce about Thailand in short and relate to this course. Yes, we have never been a colonized state(not in theory but yes in practice), and the concept of culture( Watthanatham in Thai)and civilization( Civilize in Thai)invented in Fascist state before WW II.. Moreover, at that time the name of country changed from “Siam” to “Thailand”.( I hope you remember the SIAM MAPPED book). You know Thailand means “Land of Thai” but in Fascist’s sense means “Land of Tai”, expansion territory to minority people who live in Vietnam, South of China and Assam of India. So I think some aspect of culture in Thailand is different from India but some is the same. viriya
